《銅碗精品》

銅是一種奇妙的物質。從它溫暖閃亮的表面的第一印象，到它離子化合物顏色（豐富的綠色和藍色）、它的寬容性（巨大的可塑性/可加工性）以及它在人類歷史上的作用，包括直到現在，它是人類的真正朋友。
我們通常在華德福教育的第9或10年級介紹簡單的金工-銅碗，學生們驚訝於銅在鍛造過程中改變形狀是如此容易。選擇碗的原因是因為許多基本技術可以在這個簡單的項目中學習到。
在這課程中，我們將在銅被敲擊後變得更硬時對其進行熱軟化，並學習最後的拋光，使銅碗像秋天的夕陽一樣閃閃發光。

Copper is a wonderful substance. From the first impression of its warm gleaming surface, to the color of its many salts (rich greens and blues) to its forgiving nature (great malleability/ductility) and its role in human history including up to the present, it is a real friend of humanity.
We introduce simple copper work (bowl-making) usually in Class 9 or 10 and the students are surprised at how easy it changes shape under the hammer (even special hammers are used). A bowl is chosen because many of the basic techniques can be learnt in this simple project. We learn how to heat-soften it when it becomes harder after being hit, and we learn how to finally polish it so the bowl gleams like a setting autumn sun.

老師介紹：

Noel Dallow 老師

出生於紐西蘭基督城。

1995年在愛默生學院開始華德福教師訓練，之前曾在Hohepa之家（一個Camphill療癒社區）擔任照護志工家長三年。 1997年搬到台灣，包括在宜蘭慈心的工作共兩年，然後回到英格蘭以完成他的教學資格。

臨近畢業時搬到蘇格蘭，在Moray的Steiner學校擔任班導師共4年，最後2年，他帶領一個中學高年級的計畫，目前該計畫仍持續運作中。他接著回到台灣，在磊川華德福學校工作了5年，隨後3年在紐西蘭完成教育學位。

2011年返回台灣開始在海聲華德福教育工作。

Born in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Worked in Hohepa Homes as houseparent (a Camphill home) for three years before beginning Waldorf Teacher program in Emerson College in 1995. Moved to Taiwan. After two years, including work at Ci-Xin in Ilan, returned to England to complete his teaching qualifications.

Upon graduating moved to Scotland where he worked as a Class teacher for 4 years at the Moray Steiner School. The last 2 years were spent spearheading an Upper School Project which is still operating. Returned to Taiwan and spent 5 years at Leichuan Waldorf School, followed by three years in New Zealand completing an Education degree. Returned to Taiwan in 2011 to begin work in HaiSiann Waldorf Education.
